A waterproof paint bucket is a fairly common type of paint container. Besides being able to hold construction paints, it can also be reused to store various everyday dirty items. The materials typically used for waterproof paint buckets are commonly either plastic or aluminum. Of course, there are many different types available on the market, and their sales performance is exceptionally strong. They’re still very frequently used in daily life. So, what aspects should we pay attention to when using a waterproof paint bucket? Today... Waterproof coating bucket manufacturer I’ll explain it in detail for everyone.
1. Waterproof coating bucket manufacturer Before application, inspect all components and clean the paint buckets according to their condition to ensure that the paint buckets are in perfect working order.
2. Waterproof coating bucket manufacturer The amount of material added must not exceed two-thirds of the paint bucket’s capacity; otherwise, it could damage the rubber seal of the pressure-regulating valve and cause the architectural paint to flow backward. It could also result in architectural paint leaking from the point where the drive shaft contacts the sealing cover.
3. The top one-third of the paint bucket, as well as the paint bucket lid and sealing gasket, must be free of architectural paint. If any paint is found, it should be cleaned up immediately to ensure proper sealing performance.
4. The pressure limit for the paint bucket is 0.09 MPa (or 0.9 kgf/cm²); otherwise, risks are very likely to occur.
5, Waterproof coating bucket manufacturer Generally, the pressurization working pressure for architectural coatings is set at 0.05 MPa (i.e., 0.5 kgf/cm²) to begin a trial spray, after which the spray gas working pressure is gradually adjusted. If the architectural coating tank is relatively long, the pressurization working pressure for the coating can be slightly increased.
6. If the architectural coating exhibits significant sedimentation, you can moderately increase the rotational speed of the pneumatic pump—but avoid drastically increasing the motor’s speed. Excessive speed during mixing can introduce air into the coating, resulting in numerous bubbles that will impair the spraying effect and shorten the coating’s service life.
7. When using paint buckets outdoors, try to avoid direct sunlight as much as possible; this will help extend the service life of the paint buckets.
8. When storing organic chemical substances in paint buckets, the surrounding area must be equipped with adequate drainage ditches and dilution equipment.
